Safety and high-quality interactions are guaranteed through our closed-loop reputation network: The Aura System.

The Aura Score

Your Aura is a live representation of your standing within the Session community. It dictates your matchmaking speed and who you can interact with.

How it Works

• Starting Point: Every new user starts with a Baseline Aura score.
• Positive Endorsements: After a session, if your partner gives you a positive “Thumbs Up” endorsement, your Aura increases.
• Negative Reports: If a partner reports you for harassment, trolling, or breaking rules, your Aura suffers a massive penalty.

[!WARNING] Users whose Aura drops below the acceptable threshold are placed into a Low Priority Queue and cannot match with High Aura users. Severe infractions result in permanent hardware bans.

Profile Badges

Badges are visual indicators displayed on your profile that immediately communicate your status, verification level, or play style.

Common Badges Include:

• Verified: You have linked and authenticated a legitimate VRChat account.
• High Aura: You consistently receive positive endorsements and are a pillar of the community.
• Session+: You are an active subscriber to the premium consumer tier.
• Pro: You are a vetted entertainer or creator utilizing the SessionPro marketplace.
• Mute / Signer: Indicates to potential matches that you exclusively use ASL/BSL or non-verbal communication.

Expanding your collection of positive badges fundamentally increases your match-rate, as other users often filter explicitly for verified or highly-endorsed players.
